A Day on Safari

No one day on safari is identical to another.
Each outing is a new adventure.
Be prepared to rise before dawn and to spend until sunset tracking animals in the wild.
Our guides will collect you from your rest camp to start your photo safari just as the sun begins to peep over the eastern horizon. These cool, crisp morning hours is when the game reserve awakens. Wildlife visit water holes and streams to quench their thirst before seeking a shady spot under a tree until late afternoon.

Sunset in the Kruger Park

After the heat of the day, your guide will once again head the open-air safari jeep in the direction of watering holes. Or maybe he will navigate a dirt track well off the beaten tourist path in search of lion hunting prey.

Your day on safari does not end between sunrise and sunset. There are untold numbers of animals, reptiles and birdlife active during the heat of the day. You will, however, enjoy a lunch break at a restaurant in one of the larger Kruger National Park camps. You will even be given the time to browse around a curio shop and to purchase a memento of your never-to-be-forgotten African photo safari.
